A message from Chris Cain, Director - Grace Care

When people have to find care for themselves, or one of the family, where do they go to find the best solution? How can they be sure there isn’t a better answer? Most people just don’t know where to start looking!

My own family faced this problem over twenty years ago. I well remember visiting twenty-five care homes and nursing homes in the UK to find somewhere where my grandmother would be well cared-for. I felt guilty that we could not care for her ourselves, and sad that she had to move from her own home.

There didn’t seem to be anyone to help. Not just to find a good home, but also to help us come to terms with our decision, and to help us make the right choice.

I realised there must be thousands of other families who were facing the same problem and was determined to help them find the answer.

In 1986, I set up Grace Care, a service dedicated to helping people unlock the answers to finding care. Since then, Grace Care has advised over 100,000 families throughout the UK, helping them to choose the best type of care for their needs and wishes and then helping to find that care for them.

Over 100 Grace Care Advisers search the country for the best care providers. Grace Care helps in the choice of both care at home and in care homes. Our information network is second to none in offering information specific to each individual’s needs. We are constantly updating our details of care providers across the UK.

Since 1986, hospitals, insurance providers and major companies have also found Grace Care invaluable for advising their patients, policyholders and staff.
